A preposition of place is a preposition which is used to refer to a place where something or someone is located. 

• At – A preposition of place which is used to discuss a certain point (She sat at the table).
• In – A preposition of place which is used to discuss an enclosed space (She is in the car).
• On – A preposition of time which is used to discuss a surface (The book is on the desk).
